This is book one of a three-part series. This novel follows Zack Hyatt, a 35-year-old veteran struggling to cope with life outside of the military. Along the way, several other individuals will join the journey on a path of divine convergence. It's a story of two kingdoms, the Kingdom of Darkness and the Kingdom of Light, and every person in this story will have to decide which one they will serve. It is the same decision each of us must make.

The synopsis made the work sound like it would be at least entertaining enough. I wasn’t expecting a staggering work of genius but what I got was a book so poorly written it was at times painful to listen to. The characters and story are all cliche. The dialogue is clunky and unnatural at best. The author is in dire need of a thesaurus.
