Never Again

Learned so much from this book. It made me realize how destructive nuclear power is. I pray to God that we never drop another bomb anywhere in the world. There is a book about Nagasaki that is just as important to read. Never again.

Took me back.

Patti....loved her evolution as an individual.

All of it.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When they would draw together...so personal.

Any additional comments?

Over the weeks I keep coming back to moments in this book that were so personal and lovely and about their growing together and apart....also took me back to my early days as an artist.

Probably not...her accent was a little heavy for my liking.

The struggle to become well again when she was in hospital.

I would listen to it again because it was so well written and a beautiful story.

The characters including the dog.

The right voice for the right book.

If you could sum up 14 in three words, what would they be?

This book started a little slow and the story took awhile to evolve, but once it did it was fascinating....kindof an old style science fiction story.

What was one of the most memorable moments of 14?

When they went into the basement.

What does Ray Porter bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Lots of characters well represented by one voice.
