Still, Rinder bought into the doctrine that his personal comfort was secondary to the higher purpose of Hubbard’s world-saving mission.

I'm a fan of Mike Rinder from his tv show & podcast. But both didn’t focus on Mike’s specific journey which is why I grabbed his book. Lots to learn about & Mike does a great job reading & telling his story.

Perfect combo Harlan Coben & Steven Weber

I’ve listened to about 18 books by Harlan Coben. He has a pattern to his writing but it doesn’t get old. Again with The Boy from the Woods he tells an intricate, interesting, suspenseful story. Steven Weber as the narrator is so unbelievably great. I hope Coben keeps using him as narrator as his voices are spot on with Coben’s characters. I’m excited for the next Wilde book.

Long time listener of this series. This book failed to grasp my interest. Didn't seem to be as well written/edited as previous books.
The narrator's voice is irritating. Could hear the saliva in his mouth every time he took a breath. Couldn't listen with earbuds in.
I'll probably get the next book in the series, but not if the same narrator is reading.
