I been following the precepts in the book since August 2017 and have kept the weight off and feel alot healthier. Don't fall for the bad reviews most of the reviewers have not read the book, Gundry's conclusions are based on his patients experiences and experimental data.

Cockney English

Love Miles Cameron's books, read all his fiction works and most of his non fiction works under Christian Cameron, the narrator on this one is much better on the second half of the book so I am skipping to the second half then will go back to the first half. The first half was in cockney English with a superfast monotone pace so totally incomprehensible. Ok gave the second half a try, poorly developed characters, boring story, awful all around, returning this one.

Unabridged version

I did not realize the previous audible version was actually a Abridged which was narrated by Robin Bailey who is probably a slightly better narrator the Neal Hunt who did this version but I definitely prefer this one over the previous version I do not know why they chopped 2 hours off a book for no reason

So many bad books these days even from authors I previously loved MrTaylor does not disappoint, his books are so detailed he's definitely traveled to all the places to do his research the narration is excellent also

Be aware where this book may lead you to

The book is well written and well narrated by the author. There are many references to Jesus and some to the Buddha, however this book does not lead a listener in the Christian direction, to be fair it does not say that is its intent, however there are many Jesus quotes so it is implied. The books main premise is that the world will be destroyed if most of its population does not become fully conscious. Its definition of conscious is actually to become unconscious, destroying one’s ego and merging with our own full being which is part of the universal soul. The urgency about getting the entire population to destroy their egos could be Malthusian as what we will do with the humans that do not comply? So, we have a more Luciferian than Christ like trajectory.

Hope the next one is better

Just finished the first two Nevernight Chronicles, excellent, so ordered this one, the story might be ok but with the narration it impossible to figure out what going on. I think they borrowed the narrator from the childrens book "Good Night Moon" not the right narrator for ninja fighting sequences.

Not as good as the first book

A bit lackuster, dull story and characters, my least favorite of all LC's books and I have listened to them all, so far finished about 70% of the book hopefully the last 30% is better.
Ok, finished, the last 25% was good, not great.
