Being reasonable about reason

I enjoyed this book for Dave's crystal clear words about freedom and reason, something we can only keep one person at a time with compassion and kindness as our back-seat driver.
He is a great narrator as well.

Good Galsworthy novel, tinny sound

Not my favorite Galsworthy but his typical rich and thick description and character portraiture for which he is famous. So I recommend it for his fans. The narrator does a great job but the tinny sound is grating, and words are not ways clear; hence the low cost for the book. I had to download the Gutenberg Reader version of the book to catch words and phrases I had trouble understanding.
Would love to see this audio edited if possible to wipe out the tin. Or for Beed to redo it.

A story of the sweetness and the passion and pain and resignation of life and love, of shifting sympathies for the most memorable characters. Passion and pain, and humor, much humor, some of it side splitting! The Interlude is pure epic poetry. Required reading for lovers of life and beauty. I am moving on with the eagerness of a peeping Tom into the lives and hearts of the characters of the next saga, Book 2.

The story, overall humorous, has a few dry spells, and some overwriting, as was common in novels if this period, but I enjoyed it. There are a number if LOL moments that are priceless!
