I could not put this down, and now I cannot get it off my mind. The story, and the truth and principles woven into it, are etched on my heart and life forever.
Incredible character development, depth of content, principles taught through phenomenal storytelling, and I will not hide that I personally was uncharacteristically brought to tears several times.
Thank you, for such a treasure. I wish I could make certain that every human read this book at least once in their lifetime.

The content of this book brought hope and clarity to some places of my life and heart (and marriage!) that hadn't felt these things for a while! I'm so grateful. Even if you do not understand the Enneagram yet (or, on the flip-side, if you already do), I truly believe you will glean so much from the contents of this fabulous book.

Acuff knows the reason why many writers' novels go unfinished - it's the same reason why gyms are filled in the first week of January and empty by the end of the month and why people stop learning a new language once they get past the easy parts. It's not just that people lose momentum or get distracted. People give up on projects when they fail to live up to their own high expectations and decide that if they can't do something perfectly, they won't do it at all. If you're going to finish, you have to kill perfectionism.

Jon Acuff is FUNNY. I LOVE when an author can teach vivid truths with perspective and hilarity, causing me to both see things differently AND laugh out loud along the way. I'm going right back to re-listen so I can write down all the major nuggets I heard this first time!

This book will have you wishing you never had to press the pause button. The character development is (as per Andy usual) phenomenal. The story, rich with evidence that Mr Andrews has done his share of historical digging and has a true passion for what he learns, brings to present-day life not only these infamous people from the past, but presents all readers with a... quest of our own. What might one do with his/her life... if only they (we) choose to ACT?
