I loved everything about Rhino's spinoff. I found myself wrapped up in dark gritty world of Hell Divers again. Nick and Mac's journeys kept up fascinated the whole time. Now let's discuss the elephant in the room. Ray Porter is not R C Bray, but he brought the Cazadores to life for me. Call it heresy but he was the better choice for this book. The Spanish accents are perfection. And it's a perfect entry into the series.

My kids begged me for Crunchyroll and never stopped talking about this story. Now I'm ahead of them. The storyline is awesome and engaging enough to keep me buying 📚.
Names are similar, so I would suggest watching a YouTube video on the characters, unless you are great with names.

Like the first book, this one as impossible to put down! The insight into Jinwoo makes Solo Leveling such an interesting read (listen). I do suggest watching an episode of the anime a lot of the character names are very similar, Jinah, Jinwoo, Jinoo, and some more I don’t remember. (Also forgive the misspelling on the names!)

I discovered this because my kids begged for Crunchyroll and so was soon hooked. Solo Leveling is a smart take on the LitRPG genre, Sun Jinwoo is a fantastic character who makes the proper choices for his circumstances. I’m looking forwards to all 9 volumes…

It’s hard to beat R C Bray but I actually enjoyed this version more with sound effects, actors and music. Akira and company never sounded so good.
If you are new to the series it’s about the battle between those who believe AI will save humanity and those who think it should be eliminated for good. The action fun, the characters great. Take a listen! I’m definitely looking forwards to the rest of the series.

This book was originally targeted as the sequel to revenge of the Sith. A tie is the entire expanded universe’s prequels era into a nice bow. I can’t imagine a better book than this for what happens after the movie.
