I listened to most of this book at night as I settled down to sleep, a chapter or 2 at a time. I enjoyed the stories and illustrations Max used to make his points hit home. There are so many sweet nuggets of truth that I often played chapters again so I wouldn't miss anything. I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting a fresh perspective on how God sees them. Enjoy.

I was not only inspired as I traveled through Noah's journey, but I was also informed and encouraged. Nicki puts out such powerful pictures relating to life now, not just in the past. I have already gone back to relisten to certain parts and will undoubtedly go through the whole book again!
Nicki speaks with a magnetism that draws you into the presence of God where you can feel Him walking through the pages of your life and drawing you closer.
GREAT READ!

Max Lucado has such amazing insight. I get uplifted, enlightened, quietly introspective, shot down and lifted up again and where does he get those stories!? I have listened to this book twice already, and I just might do it again sometime. I hope you are also blessed by it.

Coming alive.

I loved listening to Max make God's promises become real and workable! They came alive in a way I could use them in my daily life. He made the scriptures relatable to my everyday life.

I loved listening to Max. As he told real life stories today then tied them together with real life stories from the bible I was inspired and encouraged with practical applications for my own life.

This book started off a little sluggish for me and I struggled with whether or not I would make it through. I made the decision to continue and it finished rather strong. I gained valuable insight into the behavior of those around me, but more importantly, into areas that I need to change. May you have even more success.

This is an excellent narration of a fascinating story. Following the developments of so many different areas of study and how they link together is mind boggling. I loved hearing about all the 'toys' there were contributing to this work. I had to set the timer at night when I listened because I was so caught up I didn't want to stop listening! I highly recommend this book.
