Just be prepared to cry but there is still a HEA of sorts
Revisado: 03-23-20
Well written but that ending had me looking for tissues. If your a fan of LOTU or Gena Showalter then you'll know you can't help but enjoy her writing.
I read this several years ago when it first came out but enjoyed the second time listening to it just as much as the first.

If you look up British in the dictionary...A-list celebrity Jamie Jaymeson's name would be next to it. Along with charming, witty, man-whore, and a lot of other adjectives that he wouldn't appreciate being attached to his name. He has everything in the world going for him. Until fate decides his number's finally up.

So cute and so funny... Loved it!
Revisado: 10-28-16
This book was just about perfect! So many cute and funny moments that made me smile and laugh and even a few tears. A book that makes you feel such a gamut of emotions and does it so well... What more can you ask for?
Loved the narrators! Both did a great job but the male was awesome! This is my first seaside book but I'm off to find the first three and read all about Dimitri and Alex.

Entertaining and funny and different because
Revisado: 09-04-16
Entertaining and funny and different because it was written in its entirety from a guys POV. This made it somewhat unique in this genre. I loved it! It was funny and light but at times made your heart clench as you felt right along with the main characters. I saw a review that said all he thought about was sex and she didn't really care for it. Hello we are in a guys head and a college age guy at that but saying that I never once thought it was over the top with the sex. It was pretty perfect in my opinion and the narrator did an amazing job. I'm so glad I gave this a chance and now I'm off to read the next book.

Another great one!
Revisado: 03-19-16
Another great read from Tiffany Snow! I've yet to read a book from her that I don't love! Instead of us falling for the bad boy we've fallen for the tough and sexy "Boy Scout" F.B.I. Agent and the bad girl. It was a match made in heaven with snark. I was all to ready for more when it ended :)!

Loved the story but not a fan of the narrator.
Revisado: 03-08-16
I thought the story was great it was a little different than what I normally read but I was kept interested until the last word.
It had intrigue, mystery, a little paranormal, old artifacts, a ghost, a secret society, and romance. What more could you ask for?
I read a review on Amazon that was scathing but even looking for the things she listed left me wondering how she could take everything so backwards from what is was meant for. But to each his own, however for me this was a great read and I'm off to purchase the next book in the series.
Like I said in the title I'm not a fan of the narrator and wish it was anyone else because she grated on me and had me picturing a grandmother instead of the heroine who is still in her 20's and when she spoke for Nathan it was a sick old man. The only good thing I can say is you eventually get a little used to it and that was the only reason it was tolerable.

Historia
A huge fan of Jane Austen, Danielle hopes to find her own Mr. Darcy when she leaves Colorado to attend art school in London. Of course she knows it's silly to wish for that, naive even. But she's met enough males who lacked respect for women, a growing trend it seemed. And at 19...well... However, on only her second night there she gets lost and is threatened by a stalker who proves to be immune to her martial-arts training. Before she is completely overpowered, she is then saved by Ethan Deveroux.

I would have to say a 14 year old might enjoy it...
Revisado: 02-02-16
I would have to say a 14 year old might enjoy it, but then again it was very dragged out, repetitive, boring, and lacking in action so it might not be enough for even a 14 year old. I would have chose an even younger age but there is kissing involved but It was all very tame. I will not be continuing the series. It did have a HEA and no cliffhanger and that is the best thing I can say about this book. It just dragged on and on and the few scenes that could have developed into something didn't and remained flat and repetitive. By the end I could care less what happened to the main characters if it would just happen quickly so I could be done. However if you are looking for something for a very young teen or like very tame drawn out reads you might give it a try and love it. It just wasn't for me and the whole Jane Austen and Mr. Darcy thing that was eluded to in the book description was a huge let down. As a lover of J.A. and Mr. Darcy it was a major pet peeve to tie it in so badly not to mention the wit of Ms. Austen was no where to be found. Okay I'm done ranting and hopefully will save another person from my mistake ;).
