What did you like about this audiobook?
It is gripping, entertaining and educational!
How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?
The scenes of the main fictional character interacting with important historical figures were fascinating and so believable. I am much more knowledgeable about WWII now!
Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this?
He wove a compelling story of an American family with Jewish ties using historically accurate events and people during the WWII era.
What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?
Nothing, it was excellent. He was able to portray all characters differently and well. Some male narrators can't seem to convincingly emote women's voices, this one can.
Do you have any additional comments?
I wish there was a third book! I miss the characters and would like to read more about them.

Not really. I wanted to listen, then contemplate for awhile before I took in more.

I suggest also buying (as I did) the paper copy of this book because of all the Scripture references. I want to have it on my bookshelf for future reference. It is timeless.
