Finch! Enough!
Revisado: 02-11-25
I loved all the books in the series! Unfortunately, this last book made me frustrated with the repeated repeated repeated recounting of Finch’s backstory and how he would not tell anyone. The book might have been half as long had the same thing not been said over and over. Finch definitely went through a horrific childhood, but his ignorance and stubbornness were tedious. No one would have put up with his treatment.
I wanted to slap Finch many many many many times.

Kinda rapey.
Revisado: 06-13-24
The assault and rape scenes go on too long. Uncomfortable because the author writes these scenes to be titillating. It takes me out of the story. Narrator is great! Story is solid. It just doesn’t need to be torture to get the point across.
