Born with the sole purpose to keep his parents together, it’s hard for him to find self worth and Dom resorts to being a clown, unwilling to take things seriously.

They might not be true mates but they are perfect together!

Second book

I was so dumb to listen to this story before book one and that gave me a really hard time to getting into the events and to get to know the characters.
After I finished this book, I searched for the first in series and really enjoyed listing to that one. When I returned to listen to this story, everything made so much more sense en I really enjoyed this romantasy

Despite my high rating this wasn’t a book for me. However, I do think this was well written for the genre. It just isn’t my genre.

If you enjoy YA/NA exploration of lust and love, you will like this.

Angels and Demons

I’m a huge fan of Suzanne Wright and her Dark in You series. It’s full of wicked, weird, and wonderful creatures. It has enough suspense to have me keep turning the pages. And the characters (male and female) are strong and badass.
I like the world build, because while it’s clearly paranormal fantasy, I can’t help but wondering if maybe angels and demons lives amidst us - hiding in plain sight 😅

This is a fast-paced romance, both on paper as in timeline.
The heroine is recovering from some bad choices and doing her best to stand on her own two feet.
The fire-chief hero is settled but burned by a ex-partner.
Can he tame this firecracker before the future he sees goes up in flames?

I didn’t expect the cliffhanger…

I received a copy of this audiobook through StoryOrigin. I’m writing this review voluntarily and this is my honest opinion.

What I didn’t like was the ending on a cliffhanger with barely a HFN ending.
I also had a hard time getting used to the narrator. She did a professional job, I just didn’t care much for her voice, but other people might enjoy listening to her.

What I liked was the storyline, the background of the characters, and how they both struggled with their past and opening up to each other to give their relationship a chance.

The side characters were a bit one dimensional, either bad (work colleagues) or good and sweet (BFF).

I liked the details about the dance company and dance world.

Nice fast-paced story

This isn’t a long book (less than 6 hours) of listening and it could have easily be double as long.
I really liked it but I probably have loved it if we gotten less speed and more character depth and development.

However, this was an enjoyable story and likable characters. I think the writing is good and so was the narrator. All in all a solid 4 stars - good but not excellent.

Listening left me with mixed emotions

The book is wel narrated, I liked the storyline, and I liked the characters (main and side). While this is a trilogy, it doesn’t end with a cliffhanger but a happily ever after. I highly appreciate that!

This is a very short story and that’s the part that left me unsatisfied. It’s instalove with very little conflict. There’s a suspense element that give a bit of tension but not much.

Great conclusion to an awesome series

With sadness I realize this will be the final chapter in the HH MC series. I loved these characters and stories and I will be returning to them again and again.

Okay-ish story with cliffhanger

I didn’t expect the cliffhanger, so that was a bit of a downer for me!

The premise of the story is good. It is a story about a naive young woman and a jaded sportsman as well as a story about family and friends.

To me the characters were too one dimensional and sometimes downright irritating. All in all, I probably won’t be reading more books in this series.
