Very much a book with deeper undertones. Very depressing read. Characters are not likable. Interesting premises did not love the execution.
Not very scary not a horror story for me.
Lots of grief, addiction, drugs, mushrooms, and tons of puke.

Not what I was expecting

Not my favorite approach to a book. It jumps from screenplay to past and present times. Weird audio noises were added for effect but it was more distracting than helpful.
There is a lot left unexplained probably as intended by the author but was just anti-climatic and felt like the author wanted the text or meaning to be deeper than it was. Also more sad than scary.
I think that the author was going for deep and thought-provoking in reality ir just came across as unresolved, unexplained, and frustrating.

Wonderful

This book sucked me right in and didn’t let go. It was such a fun listen the narrator is fantastic. The story is thrilling and romantic. I love the circus aspect it made for a very fun setting for a story.

Edge of your seat excitement!

This was a great book! Fun, full of excitement, and adventure.
The love between the main characters is so enchanting and sweet.
Plenty of action and great pacing kept me listening into the long hours of the night.
Great narration and character voices.
Hope this story continues! Can’t wait to see what’s next for for these two.

Narrator is not the best

I think the story was okay however the narrator made this nearly impossible to get through. I would be wise to trad this one and skip the audio.

Simply Extraordinary

Loved every minute of this book. TJ has created characters that pull you in and enchant you though the whole book!

I think this could be a decent book. I wanted to like it so much that I painstakingly forced myself through hours of this narrators monotone voice.
It’s so hard to focus on him and you find your mind wondering. Better to read this one then to listen.

Love everything about this book

The Heartsong was heard and felt in every minute of this journey.
TJ has an amazing approach to this tale and its just as epic, adventurous, heart wrenching, and romantic as all the other books in the series. Fingers crossed for many more books about the pack in Green Creek.

Best Series Ever

I can’t put in to words how wonderful this book is. TJ Klune is one of the best authors out there.
This book will pull at your heart, make you laugh out loud, and shed a tear. Everything you could ever want in a adventure novel is here! Thank you TJ for giving fairytale for us boys who grew up crushing on the prince, and wishing we two could find our happily ever after!
