I enjoyed the narrator with her British pronunciation and voice changes for each of the characters.

Max wants Eden, but he at first sees her as lover and not wife material because she’s not a virgin and is considering her sister-in-law Roslyn instead. But he reconsiders at a house party as they became closer, if only he can convince her after a terrible marriage that ended in scandal to take another chance on marriage.

I liked the British narrator with her accent, infections, and voice variations depending on the character.

For someone who hadn’t been kissed until the beginning of the book she falls into bed pretty quickly with him.

I liked the narrator with her British accent, inflections, and different voices.

Edith was almost forty and thought she'd never find the love and family she's dreamed of when her old friend Caroline's husband George comes to Lilac City to join a doctor's practice. Sadly his wife died of cancer a year ago and he wants a new life with his three children who have become spoiled and lost their way after the loss. He travels back to San Francisco with Edith, Charles, and Maude who are on their honeymoon, which is more like a babymoon. Edith took charge in the book in particular after the earthquake and unrest. The wealthy learned how little their possessions meant when they had to fend for themselves without electricity and running water and buildings burning.

The narrator has a nice smooth tone with voice changes including western accents and inflections in all the right places.

I can't imagine losing my eye sight and having to find my way in the darkness. It must have been even harder for someone whose life was all about color as an artist, but despite being upset and fighting it Sosie is still able to put together visions in her mind. I loved the app on her phone that when she pointed it at something would tell her what color it was. It seemed like Sosie spent her life making sure her mother and brother were taken care of, but no was around to help her out when she needed them and was worried about finishing paintings or having to pay back an advance with money she no longer had. Baxter didn't want to take her in even if it was only temporary. He felt like he could barely care for himself never mind someone else. I was amazed at how she helped him put together colors for interior designs for his clients without being able to see what she was working with.

The narrator added plenty of humor and emotion with his voice changes and inflections. I found myself laughing out loud and smiling at the sweet moments.

Second Chances in Aspen Cove

Natalie, Will, and Jake have all been hurt. Natalie and Will by their selfish father and a struggling foster care system that doesn’t always allow for love. Jake had to deal with kidney failure and the abandonment of his girlfriend during that time. I loved that he came back to Aspen Cove because Bea’s daughter Brandy had given him life after she died through her kidney and he wanted to give back. I am an avid reader and would love to work in a bookstore, so I was happy that he built one in memory of Bea and Brandy. Natalie kept pushing Jake away and holding off on saying I love you to Jake and her new brother Will because she hasn’t known love herself and is afraid of getting hurt. The townspeople of Aspen Cove are amazing how they rally around to help each other. They make everyone feel like family and it sounds like an amazing place to live. Katie received Brandy’s heart. Jake got one of the kidneys. I can’t wait to find out who else received a second chance at life because of Brandy.

The narrator has a smooth sexy tone with voice changes and inflections in all the right places.

Sweet Opposites Attract Romance

Justin is a bad boy former bull rider recovering addict trying to figure out what to do with the rest of his life after a career ending injury and Valeri is a premed student with way too many responsibilities and jobs focused on her education and getting into med school. They are attracted to each other, but he's too jaded and pulls her in and then pushes her away thinking he'll never be good enough for her. There are funny, sweet, and some exasperating moments in their rocky path to romance. I feel the same way Valeri does about public speaking and don't like it when I have to do presentations, although I was never so nervous that I dropped my notes. She has a wonderful large group of siblings, the younger ones she pitches in to help her parents with, and will make a great mom someday.

The narrator, who is also a wonderful author, has a smooth clear accented voice with voice changes and inflections in all the right places.

Sweet Second Chance at Love Holiday Romance

Alex and Grace are adorable holding hands and excited about any time they get to spend together. Carlisle is a workaholic in his quest to develop a better avalanche beacon to save lives in memory of his wife. Merry puts up barriers in her relationship with Carlisle afraid he's going to leave and go back to England and maybe even feeling guilty over moving on from the the loss of her husband. Her mother plays matchmaker and encourages the romance whenever she can. Carlisle also comes to realize that he is letting his grandfather control his life and responsibilities. Merry realizes that she is unhappy at the salon she works at with an employer that cares more about profits than her employee's needs. They both have to make changes in their lives to be open to moving forward together. This was a sweet second chance at love holiday romance.

She's back trying to work her way into a roving weather reporter position by catching footage of tornadoes and their destructive paths in action. She takes a lot of risks in pursuit of her goals, seeing death flash before her eyes several times. As a meteorology professor Tanner enjoys watching storms from the safety of the school's equipment lab is afraid to let Lauren back in only to lose her permanently.

The narrator added to the intensity of this storm chasing romance with her voice changes and inflections keeping me listening in until the end.

Sweet Holiday Romance

New RN Chiara Johnson's temporary nursing job at Wellington Acres to take care of injured Gertrude Thatcher might make her change her mind about moving back home to Kansas after New Years when she meets Gertrude's brother Vance. But she was hurt by Kevin, a guy she met online and moved to Virginia for only to find out he wasn't who he said he was. And Vance was hurt by his ex-wife who cheated on him. They both have a lot of trust issues to overcome. I loved reading about all the horses on Vince's estate especially Peppermint. The descriptions of the cookie baking made me want to make Christmas cookies. And I would love to go to a tree light ceremony like the one Turning Point put on. Chiara's little sister Emma was sweet and precocious. Gertrude is still bucking against convention with her romance with older stable manager Joe Brown. I would love to read a follow up romance story about them. There were plenty of funny, romantic, and even some suspenseful moments in this sweet holiday romance.

The narrator has an upbeat voice with clear pronunciation and voice changes and inflections, but she came off a little stilted.
