Historia
For centuries, skeptics have disputed the claims of Christianity—such as belief in an eternal God and the resurrection of Jesus Christ—arguing that they simply cannot be accepted by reasonable individuals. Furthermore, efforts to demonstrate the evidence and rational basis for Christianity through apologetics are often deemed too simplistic to be taken seriously in intellectual circles. Apologist and theoretical chemist Neil Shenvi engages some of the best contemporary arguments against Christianity.

Good Introduction to Classical Apologetics
Revisado: 06-27-22
Neil Shenvi at his finest. A good book for high-school, college-age, and new Christians to introduce them to mainly to the classical school of Christian Apologetics, though some evidedentialist and even soft presuppositionalist approaches are used if not outrightly stated as such. Students of Craig and Sproul will find familiar ground tread here, and many already familiar with the subject will likely not find anything new per-say. Still, easy and accessible, which I believe is what Neil was going for in the first place.

In The Path to Being a Pastor, Bobby Jamieson explains why it’s better to emphasize “aspiration” over “calling” as men pursue the office of elder and encourages listeners to make sure they are pastorally gifted before considering the role. He shares from his own 11-year experience preparing to be a pastor by walking potential leaders through different stages of ministry training.

Weither I end up becoming a full time pastor or not, what a great insight into the life they must live for the sake of the church. That ending is so moving. Thank you to brother Jamieson for writing this great addition to the 9Marks collection.
