I would listen again, yes. Not too many books would fall under this decision, however, Suttree is a modern classic and told McCarthy Style which makes it even more appealing

Where does Story rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
For a reference book it is tops. McKee is a master screenwriting instructor and historian of the form. I wish more screenwriters would reference his book, maybe we'd get some half way decent movies produced rather than what we are suffering through now. McKee is old school and knows what a good screenplay requires to get the STORY told.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes. A great book to read in the dark. King is the master. just add Straub and you've got one hell of a story. The story line is tight and the plot is remarkable. Can't wait to start the sequel "The Black House".

I'm not much of a period piece enthusiast but Lehane pulled it off here with a great story and an enjoyable story.

Very Damn Scary!
What did you like best about this story?
Everything. King is the master story teller and he just gives another example here. If it wasn't so long it would be difficult to put down but sleep is required and you need to catch your breath once in a while

Yes. McCarthy is a generally tough read with his run-ons and lack of normal writing style. The audible version made it easy to comprehend
