Great information, terrible narration
Revisado: 07-10-23
The information and ideas this text offers is fantastic. I’m excited that the school I work at will be implementing many of its ideas. The narration however, sounds like it’s read by an AI version of Ben Stein. This made it painstaking to get through.

Historia
Bernadette Fox is notorious. To her Microsoft-guru husband, she's a fearlessly opinionated partner; to fellow private-school mothers in Seattle, she's a disgrace; to design mavens, she's a revolutionary architect, and to 15-year-old Bee, she is a best friend and, simply, Mom.
Then Bernadette disappears. It began when Bee aced her report card and claimed her promised reward: a family trip to Antarctica. But Bernadette's intensifying allergy to Seattle - and people in general - has made her so agoraphobic that a virtual assistant in India now runs her most basic errands.

Engaging storyline and narrator
Revisado: 09-09-20
This was a fun story to read in part because of how it was written—so many twists and tangles—and in part because of the narrator. The narrator brings Amy to life and kept me on my toes; I felt transported into her heart and mind.
If you struggle with audiobooks keeping your attention, this one may change your mind.

Historia
Aristotle is an angry teen with a brother in prison. Dante is a know-it-all who has an unusual way of looking at the world. When the two meet at the swimming pool, they seem to have nothing in common. But as the loners start spending time together, they discover that they share a special friendship - the kind that changes lives and lasts a lifetime. And it is through this friendship that Ari and Dante will learn the most important truths about themselves and the kind of people they want to be.

Beautiful
Revisado: 07-09-18
This book is truly beautiful and the narration only improves it. LMM captures each character. It’s absolutely poetic.
