Couldn’t get past the narrator

Typically love Susan Sleeman books. It could have been a great story if not for the narrator. It was painful listening to this whining, hysterical narration, especially of the main character. You need to go back to using Whitney Dykhouse, used in your other series.

Perfect start to MN Marshalls

Just finished Frazier and it just might be her best book yet!! Love how she develops her characters and weaves into them the struggles we all face (albeit not in such an epic form), and then speaks God’s truth into those struggles. It was a fast paced, heart pounding roller coaster ride and can’t wait for the next book!

Was hoping for more

First, narration was difficult and his presentation was very stilted and choppy. Now the story: it was very drawn out and unrealistic. And speaking of unrealistic, when you finally know who the “bad guy” is (although we had it figured out), it’s just too unbelievable that he’s that mentally diminished and delusional to act as he does with the kidnapped girl yet able to maintain a well functioning life on the outside and no one suspects. Plus, there’s just a quick cursory mention at the end as to “why” they thought he did it, Just too many leaps to be believable and a satisfying end.

Irene Hannon doesn’t disappoint!! What a great conclusion to the triple threat series. And, to make it even better, the performance by Therese Plummer is outstanding (as usual for her as well). What a dynamic duo!! The only negative is I have to wait a year for her next series!!

Very frustrating

I so wanted to like this book. It’s my first from this author. By the end I was left confused and had so many questions. Spoiler alert: Why did Claire break Dakota’s father and others out of prison? Why was there a gun fight with the rough riders? Did her father know it was Dakota before she called him dad and shot him? What’s the connection between her father & Claire? How did Niall fit in and how did Claire get to him? Never resolved who Claire was working for. Just seemed like random bits that never truly fit together for a resolution.

This first book in Sky King Ranch series doesn’t disappoint. As always, Susan May Warren blends faith, hope and redemption into the story with characters who are flawed and so relatable.

Irene does it again!

The second installment of the “triple threat series” did not disappoint. The combo of great writing from start to finish, along with the best narrator out there, made this the perfect weekend escape. Can’t wait for book three.

Excellent Second Book!

Dani Pettry does not disappoint in this second book of her Coastal Guardians series. LOVE all the banter between characters, the suspense that keeps you guessing, and romances both current and yet to be developed (I hope!!). While the narrator was good, still disappointed that it wasn’t Therese Plummer - how much greater the listen would have been. All in all, a wonderful listen.

Just might be one of Christy’s best!!
Great story, wonderful narration and well worth a credit!! It says book 1, so looking forward to more in the series.
