Friends to lovers and I love it!

I really loved this story! I'm a romantic at heart and love the idea of second chance and finding your person...regardless of sex. One MC was in love with the other since high school and the other was his best friend who had a kid and got married. But after reconnecting they work together to make the relationship work. What i also loved about the story was that it was low angst. Although the MC's messed around in high school, one still considered himself straight. But when they reconnected, they didn't questioned their true feelings for each other. All in all, the story was well written.

Not the biggest fan of the narrator voice for one of the MC...especially when it came to their sexual encounters. It sound too feminine and like an actual other third person in the story. But of course the entire book wasn't about sex so it didn't completely took away from the story and I was still able to enjoy the story.

Cute, quirky and very hot!

I died of embarrassment and was revived by laughter! This book was so quirky, I was literally laughing out loud throughout. This was my second time with this author/narrator duet and I must say…they are magic! The author did an amazing job with writing vulnerable yet still sex positive characters! I love that when Zach fell for Emerson, he just went for it. Although up until that point, he was straight, he didn’t really question it and just accepted the fact that he was now attracted to a man. With Emerson, I loved that he refused to be shamed for what he chooses to do or how he choose to express himself. The side characters offered some nice support and I was intrigued to check and see if they had or were going to get their own storyline. But bagel and soda, Emerson pets, stole a couple scenes with their comic relief. All in all, this was a cute, low angst gay romcom!

Nice introduction to the Alpha Omega troupe...

This book was a lot of firsts for me. First time reading this author, listening to this narrator, reading a completed series and trying this Alpha Omega troupe. But I was not let down! I loved it all! Because I was going through the books back to back, I thought I would have to take a break because there was only one narrator and some times when this the case, all the characters starts to sound the same but that was not an issue with this boxset. I was genuinely impressed with John Solo. I will admit that it took about half way into the book 1 for me to get into the troupe of Alpha Omega and male pregnancy. I think my previous understanding of what's an Alpha and Omega helped, but it's also created a little bias for the Omega's. I was expecting the Alpha's to be total a-holes. Although there were some that was, none of the main characters were. My only issue with the boxset it that all the books were lumped together. It was chapter 1-223. I would have preferred for the books to be labeled because there were some cute lil short stories included and I have to search to find them to re-listen. All in all, I will be listening again and recommending this book whenever I can!

Too much going on...

The book was good...that's not my issue! What I struggle with is keeping everyone straight and following the plot. This book could have been two books as it was twice the length of all the other book. This was my first book with this narrator and author and yes, I bought the entire series and will definitely pick up the next book but I hope the author focus on one central plot..

Michael Pauley voice is growing on me. I loved the narrators of the first three books and was thrown with Michael for Jamie and Parker's story but he was awesome in book 4 and 5! So glad Giedion story was told. I was looking forward to it after his interaction with Parker in book 4. He sound starkly and delicious and book 5 did not disappoint!

All the feels...

… EVERY SINGLE ONE! I loved the book! The book was a rollercoaster of emotions. I never went through so many emotions listening to story before. Travis pissed me off in the beginning, then I was rooting for him then he broke my heart and had me in tears at the end. Geo had me laughing, cringing and wishing I could give him a hug! The secondary characters were also amazing! I can't wait for the next book! Hoping it's the single dad with the baby from camp. Maybe he's the lawyer that gave Travis dad legal advise, maybe be later helped them with something and become a friend of the family and Geo try to set him up with a cute coworker....OK, I really need the second addition!
