Awesome little cozy mystery.

I could not put this down. While from "away" I have lived in Maine for over 35 years and every "Maine aspect" of this book was accurate as far as I could tell. I am really hoping that Ms Kidd has more in the works. Performance was excellent with each character having a distinct voice so it was easy to keep track of who was who by voice tone alone. That is not all ways the case.

Impressive in its restraint

After all the hype I was expecting some big revelations. What it was was a detailed account of what anyone who follows the news will have already deduced about Trump. The closing line was the most damning and again it was not really news. In the sense that this was very restrained it was all the more damning of the Trump Whitehouse.

Another Winner for Dennis E Taylor

This started off a little dry but after the first few character introduction chapters it took off like a Saturn rocket. Mr. Taylor posted on his web site this is a stand alone but it obviously could lead into a lot more. Hoping so. I am off to read his Outland next having finished the "Bob" series. The ability of the the author to come up with unique but believable story lines is hard to find in Sci Fi any more. Not a vampire to be seen in this by the way! I would rate these out there with Heinlein and Hubert. If you READ... you should read Dennis E Taylor. If you READ Science Fiction you should already have read "Bob" and this is one to add to the bucket list. I will add as a footnote that the narration is excellent and the use of "radio" voices makes this feel like it is more of a multi - reader performance than most single narrator audible publications.
