Hilarious Because It's So Relatable

Bringing up Bébé left me feeling so happy because Pamela Druckerman received tools from her friends and experts in the art of child rearing. Entering a relationship with a stranger who has not only emerged from one's own body and is tiny, vulnerable and completely dependent on you, your wisdom, moods, and whatever else you bring to the table is just plain terrifying as it should be. I applaud Pamela Druckerman for her humility and curiosity about ideas outside of her own for this life-forming and life-affirming role we call motherhood. I say this book is hilarious because I love her reactions to and thoughts about the things that people say to her about how to approach the many decisions that come into play when "Bringing Up Bébé" are offered to the reader. Congratulations on a job well done!
