Historia
Scholars have long believed that the first civilization on Earth emerged in Sumer some 6,000 years ago. However, as Michael Tellinger reveals, the Sumerians and Egyptians inherited their knowledge from an earlier civilization that lived at the southern tip of Africa and began with the arrival of the Anunnaki more than 200,000 years ago. Sent to Earth in search of life-saving gold, these ancient Anunnaki astronauts from the planet Nibiru created the first humans as a slave race to mine gold - thus beginning our global traditions of gold obsession, slavery, and god as dominating master.

Fantastic!

The subject matter in this book reaffirms my belief that Zecharia Sitchin was right in his interpretation of the Sumerian writings.

Historia
Are we then, all of us, descendants of demigods? In this crowning oeuvre, Zecharia Sitchin proceeds step-by-step through a mass of ancient writings and artifacts, leading the listener to the stunning Royal Tombs of Ur. He reveals a DNA source that could prove the biblical and Sumerian tales true, providing conclusive physical evidence for past alien presence on Earth and an unprecedented scientific opportunity to track down the “Missing Link” in humankind’s evolution, unlocking the secrets of longevity and even the ultimate mystery of life and death.

Another fantastic book by a fantastic author, I’ve listened to all 7 Earth Chronicles books 3 times thru and I learn something new each time. Unfortunately this narrator doesn’t seem to know how to pronounce a lot of these words and it’s super annoying! Stephen Bel Davies did such a great job I wish he had done this one too!

Historia
With over 70 million records sold, Black Sabbath, dubbed by Rolling Stone “the Beatles of heavy metal,” helped create the genre itself, with their distinctive heavy riffs, tuned down guitars, and apocalyptic lyrics. Bassist and primary lyricist Geezer Butler played a gigantic part in the band’s renown, from suggesting the band name to using his fascination with horror, religion, and the occult to compose the lyrics and build the foundation of heavy metal as we know it. In Into the Void, Butler tells his side of the story.

Epic! I wish it was longer!

I’m so happy Geezer Butler read his own book! What a great guy he’s so modest and down to earth, a truly underrated bass player and lyricist! Black Sabbath was the first band my uncle played for us, I was 7 or 8 and I’ve been a fan for life!

Historia
Ever since the Greeks coined the language we commonly use for scientific description, mythology and science have developed separately. But what came before the Greeks? What if we could prove that all myths have one common origin in a celestial cosmology? What if the gods, the places they lived, and what they did are but ciphers for celestial activity, a language for the perpetuation of complex astronomical data?

Unlistenable!

3 1/2 hrs in and I cannot continue! I really wanted to listen to this book as it’s been referenced many times by Graham Hancock and others but this guy clearly does not know the content or how to pronounce many words, the start stop stutter is just too much. I wish someone other than this guy was reading! Terrible is an understatement!!
