My husband is a Vietnam vet and served in 1965-66 in country. So glad that ALL the vets men and women have finally been recognized for their selfless serving. Excellent book . Now to watch the movie.

Deserves more than five stars! The author has done an excellent job of making you "feel". The narrator ... one of the very best! This book portrays two very strong women in difficult times. I know I will listen to this one again! Going to search now for another book by this author and another by this excellent narrator!

Worth your time ... worth your tears! Adam Brown was a true hero with scars, faults, a past, in other words ... a human who kept fighting - not only his inner demons, but for his family, his country and God. This is not a book I would typically read, but was paging through my options and this book had been downloaded. I'm sure I bought it as a "Daily Deal" for under two dollars and thought, "why not, I might run out of books". I am here to say - pay full price if you have to - it is worth it!

Where does The Finisher rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Would rank this book near the middle of all the audio books I've listened to - mainly because it was not a typical Baldaci book.
What does Nicola Barber bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Interest! Niccola Barber did a fantastic job of getting the dialect and emotions across to the reader. His narration alone is worth the listening time!
Any additional comments?
Very out of the norm for Baldacci, but took a chance on it. It's not the typical sort of book I would choose to listen to or read, but it was definitely worth the time. The narrator was absolutely superb!

A friend recommended this book to me and told me I would love it. I told her "I don't read Stephen King". She promised me I would love it, that it was not his usual writing. OMG, I was hooked as soon as we were taken into the 1960's. Kennedy was assassinated when I was in 7th grade .... I remember so much about this time - no tamper proof medicine bottles for one! Yet, I learned things about Oswald I did not know. I not only read the book, but then purchased the audio book and loved it. I recommended this book to all my friends and customers! I know I will listen to this book again and again - which is something I never do!
