I knew I’d love this book when I saw the title and that Erin Bennett was the narrator. Can’t wait to listen to the next book in the series!

Story good, narration awful
Revisado: 09-08-23
I liked this story, but it was hard to pay attention to the matronly narrator - not at all matched to the main character

Doesn’t disappoint…again!
Revisado: 06-24-23
I have never been disappointed by Elin Hilderbrand books, and this is certainly the case with Five Star Weekend. As usual, the story is captivating and the narration by Erin Bennett is excellent. I just hate that this is to be her last Nantucket beach read - at least for a while - but I’m looking forward to seeing other sides of this talented author.

Narration was disappointing
Revisado: 06-13-23
I loved this series of books and its characters, but this was my least favorite- largely due to the narration. It wasn’t nearly as good as the former books.

Historia
There may be no tidy solutions or pithy answers to life’s big challenges, but Michelle Obama believes that we can all locate and lean on a set of tools to help us better navigate change and remain steady within flux. In The Light We Carry, she opens a frank and honest dialogue with listeners, considering the questions many of us wrestle with: How do we build enduring and honest relationships? How can we discover strength and community inside our differences? What tools do we use to address feelings of self-doubt or helplessness? What do we do when it all starts to feel like too much?

I loved this book. Just like Becoming, Michelle Obama is candid and vulnerable in the best of ways. Her wisdom about life in these uncertain times is both uplifting and inspiring.

Worst narration ever
Revisado: 07-05-22
Although this story wasn’t bad, I was so terribly distracted by the narration. It sounded like the voice was mechanical/computer-generated. It’s just hard to rate this book any higher than I did.
