What made the experience of listening to Wisdom Meets Passion the most enjoyable?

The Authors of this book really engage in their experiences to write this book. I loved the fact that they speak about how different the two of them are and then use examples of how they found ways to connect. Also, being a person that is trying to find that dream job, and integrate my passion through my profession. I found the book very motivating to actively and aggressively begin the process of working for myself, and using my best qualities in my work.

What other book might you compare Wisdom Meets Passion to and why?

I wouldn't compare, but would suggest Jon Acuff's "Quitter" it is a book in a similar line of pursuing work that magnifies your best qualities through your active vocation.

What does Dan Miller and Jared Angaza bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The two authors bring emotion to the story that allows you to visualize, and really enjoy their experience that they had.

Where does Quitter rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This book ranks at the top when you are trying to begin the search of what makes you happy and more importantly passionate about work.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Quitter?

One of the most memorable moments in this book is when Jon Acuff talks about an act of "recovery" not "discovery". Also, making you look for the "hinge" moments in your life.

Which scene was your favorite?

I loved when Jon talks about looking for parallels in what your doing and in what you want to do.

Any additional comments?

This book will be of great help to anyone looking to get out of their current day job and kick start that ambition of finding you dream job. I especially loved this book, and have listened to it twice becasue it doesn't sugar coat our situation. It explains that it will be hard work, take dedication, and you will have to develope a great work ethic. The book doesn't tell you your dream job will be easy, but it does say its worth it. This is a book that inspires you to enjoy the journey and the process. Especially since we live in an "instant gratification" society. It makes no promises to have the actual rules or blueprint to becoming happy, but it does the guidlines to get there.
