Big improvement over the first
Revisado: 07-15-16
I didn't enjoy the first book in the Aftermath series I liked the interludes but the rest made me kind of bored. But this book was the complete opposite. I enjoyed the interludes but I wanted them to end to get back the main story. Did I enjoy Aftermath 1? Not really. Is it necessary to enjoy this one? Yes. This is a fun Star Wars book and potentially introduces some major story elements that will be important in the future films.

What Rogue One should be.
Revisado: 03-01-16
I enjoyed this story. I wish this story was a playable campaign on the game Battlefront but I digress. The story was fun and it offered perspective changes in classic events and introduced new battles to the canon. I felt the only issue I had was some of the character ran together for me. Some of them were too alike and I started to get a little confused. I hope Twilight company gets a mention in Rogue One. Speaking of Rogue One if it is anything like this it will be a great movie. Loved the perspectives of both the Empire and Rebellion. Really was a good audiobook and I would recommend it to any Star Wars fan. The performance was also good.

Historia
As the Empire reels from its critical defeats at the Battle of Endor, the Rebel Alliance—now a fledgling New Republic—presses its advantage by hunting down the enemy’s scattered forces before they can regroup and retaliate. But above the remote planet Akiva, an ominous show of the enemy’s strength is unfolding. Out on a lone reconnaissance mission, pilot Wedge Antilles watches Imperial Star Destroyers gather like birds of prey circling for a kill, but he’s taken captive before he can report back to the New Republic leaders.

Star Wars: Disappointment
Revisado: 09-17-15
The voice acting was phenomenal. I thought the whole production was fantastic but the story itself was very disappointing. I was really looking forward to Aftermath. I've read every Star Wars canon novel to date and this was by far my least favorite. The characters were very underdeveloped and I had no feelings for them when they were in peril. They integrated some of the worst parts of the prequels into the story (battle droids). The main story was very unimportant and I never felt engaged. There were a few positives. The Imperial characters were a bright spot in the story that was otherwise lacking. The interludes were fun and after each one of them ended you wish that was the story you were reading instead of the one that is tying all of this book together. All that being said I felt like this was the worst or tied for worst novel in the new line of canon.
