So different from her Bluegrass series, but so good!

Historia
I'd almost feel bad for being interested in Dylan and stepping on Everett's toes if he didn't have a leg up in the situation, already. Everett’s been a family friend of Dylan’s for her entire life, and I’m an outsider. I’m also too much of a jerk to back off after Dylan gives me a taste of her innocence. So. Damn. Sweet. Besides, she’s cute when she blushes, and I’ve never been afraid to go after what I want, even if it means putting my future on the line.

Awkward. All of it.

Yikes. The story had potential, but it’s like the author couldn’t completely commit to a full adult novel and flitted back and forth to a YA vibe. I get that the characters are to be college aged, but at times the writing made it feel like a group of 12 year olds. And the voices, UGH. When the guy tried to do a girls voice it was just nails on a chalkboard type of grating. Not a fan and sad I wasted so much money on this one.
