This Was Good… Better at the End

I liked this. Definitely a mix between Twilight and Harry Potter with some mild cursing. Very angsty teenage girl and angsty teenage boy.
Some triggers may include:

❤️ Attempted Murder
❤️ And possibly more.
It was hard to get into at the beginning but it got much better towards the end. Very exciting and action packed.

This was an awesome book to listen to. I’m literally obsessed. I would have to say my only complaints would be that I felt Monroe to be very whiney and the performance on her was equally whiney. But it wasn’t bad by any means. I enjoyed this and will be getting the rest of the series.

I actually loved this book. I’m glad that I listened to this one. I actually cried at a certain point. This is perfect for the nerds who love sci-fi and conventions. It deals with Family Love, Friendship Love, Romantic Love, Self Love, LGBTQ rep, life in the south, a cute dog briefly mentioned, and a food truck called The Magic Pumpkin. Cute story. Not for everyone but I loved the overall story.

This is not at all what I expected when I was listening but it was super intriguing nonetheless. The narrator was EVERYTHING to this book. His voice was intoxicating and fit the bill of the title of this book. Very seductive sounding.
