Historia
When a bunch of neo-fascist thugs named The Bulldogs attack a Gay pride march in the sleepy country town of Lafferton, detective Simon Serrailler moves quickly to find the assailants. He’s already got his hands full making security arrangements for a memorial service to honour soldiers returning from Afghanistan. When anonymous threats come in, Serrailler wonders if the Bulldogs are behind these too - and worries that they know the Prince of Wales will be in attendance.

No character development
Revisado: 03-14-16
I didn't enjoy it. There was no character development at all. Very simplistic and straight forward

Predictable
Revisado: 07-01-15
Same formula, nothing new. I am done with this type of books. To be fair it is me. I predicted the whole plot and ending the first 50 pages. I like some romance but the mysteries must really be a surprise for me to make it into a page turner. It was very boring. The southern accents were really too gooey.

Very lyrical
Revisado: 03-21-15
Story line very engaging and lyrical. The reader brought out the poetry of the prose. Few unsuspecting surprises as the story unfolds.

Historia
The debut psychological thriller that will forever change the way you look at other people's lives. Every day the same. Rachel takes the same commuter train every morning and night. Every day she rattles down the track, flashes past a stretch of cozy suburban homes, and stops at the signal that allows her to daily watch the same couple breakfasting on their deck. She’s even started to feel like she knows them. Jess and Jason, she calls them. Their life - as she sees it - is perfect. Not unlike the life she recently lost.

Surprise ending
Revisado: 03-03-15
The narrator was engaging and pleasant to hear. I gave it 3 stars because of the story line. I am bias against certain characters. Very difficult to relate.
The way the story line enfolds was nicely paced.

Historia
Clare and Henry have known each other since Clare was six and Henry was 36. They were married when Clare was 23 and Henry was 31. Impossible but true, because Henry is one of the first people diagnosed with Chrono-Displacement Disorder: periodically his genetic clock resets and he finds himself misplaced in time, pulled to moments of emotional gravity from his life, past and future. His disappearances are spontaneous, his experiences unpredictable, alternately harrowing and amusing.
