Historia
When COVID-19 sweeps through New York City, Jamie Gray is stuck as a dead-end driver for food-delivery apps. That is, until Jamie makes a delivery to an old acquaintance, Tom, who works at what he calls “an animal rights organization”. Tom’s team needs a last-minute grunt to handle things on their next field visit. Jamie, eager to do anything, immediately signs on. What Tom doesn't tell Jamie is that the animals his team cares for are not here on Earth. Not our Earth, at at least. In an alternate dimension, dinosaur-like creatures named Kaiju roam a warm and human-free world.

Not a fan
Revisado: 05-19-22
Main characters were a little too squishy for me. No strong heroism. Interesting premise, well written story but I couldn’t take how soft the whole main crew was. I know they’re scientists but so am I and many I know. They’re not the whinny little sissy’s this books makes them out to be. Guess it’s just not for me. May give the author another try.

Historia
It's been three long years since Deadbreak. That's what everyone's calling it - the day the dead rose. Every day since then, Jeremiah Reid has had one goal: to make his way back to his daughter. With his four-legged companion, Joe, Jeremiah has to travel a lawless wasteland teeming with zombies, bandits, and worse, like people who put anchovies on pizza (you know who you are). It's a new world out there, and no one is safe. People are weary, cities are in ruin, supplies are scarce, and brains are on the menu.

Superb in plot and performance
Revisado: 12-08-21
One of the best post apocalyptic books I’ve listened to and it’s my favorite genre so I’ve been through many. Humor and suspense were prevalent and perfectly portrayed by the narrator. Really hope this will become a series! If not at least crank out some more books. This is one of my new favorites. And also kudos to the narrator, killer job and I’ll be looking for more by him too!

Good study material on the go
Revisado: 02-14-21
Makes for good cell bio study material when sitting and reading is not an option e.g. when driving. Wish there were more episodes! Could use some episodes on pcr and other testing methods and some on genetic mutation specifics!

Historia
This is one of Lovecraft's most beautifully written and frightening stories. It is written from the perspective of a surveyor, who, while surveying a rural area that is to be flooded near the town of Arkham, comes across a mysterious, abandoned farmstead, which is completely devoid of all life. At the center of the farmstead is an old well. The site fills him with an unnatural sense of dread, and, as it turns out, there is good reason for that feeling.

Another underestimated great by Lovecraft. Also that narrator is top tier. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a spooky tale.
