Historia
*My name is Ellis DeAngelo.* I tend to get caught in the midst of trouble quite often. I'm an unlucky guy, but fortunate to have friends to help me out. These aren't the memoirs of a geisha you'll be hearing. And most definitely not some soul-searching discovery that depicts eating, praying, and loving. This is so much better...or worse, depending on your perspective.

Great Audiobook for Quick Laughs
Revisado: 12-19-16
Where does On the Hit List rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.
For easy listening comedy book this would definitely be in the top 10 books I have listened too. The book has a great performance and the voice really brings you into the story.
What other book might you compare On the Hit List to and why?
I can't I have not listened to a book like this before. I am new to audiobooks.
Which scene was your favorite?
Definitely when they go on the hunt for the crooked cop. Super funny!
If you could take any character from On the Hit List out to dinner, who would it be and why?
Definitely the main character, he seems funny enough to keep me entertained but not too stupid to make me annoyed.

Historia
In the early 21st century, humanity marveled at its greatest creation: artificial intelligence. They couldn't foresee the consequences of such a creation. Now, in a world where humans must meet specifications to continue living, a man named Caesar emerges. Not meeting specifications - indeed, thinking things no human should - eyes fall on Caesar, eyes that could kill him or lift him up, lead him to tragedy or revolution.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
“I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.”Yes, the book has a really interesting take on a future and delivers good twists and turns that I believe others will enjoy.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Heretic?
The are a few moments that just feel so human and it really jumps out at you. I don't want to spoil it for you, but sometime you get those moments in books where you feel like the character is just not human enough. Here we really get caught up in those human moments and they leave me saying "thats exactly how I or someone I know would react".
Have you listened to any of Sean Patrick Hopkins’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have not. But will look out for them.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Great story with interesting characters
Revisado: 11-02-16
I really like how the characters collide with each other from their own arcs. The story leaves you wondering how each character will evolve as they meet new people along the way.
It took me 4-5 chapters before I got hooked so if you do read it, go ahead and give it some time.
I would prefer a different narrator, he just seems more fitting for the sci-fi genre in my opinion. The fact that this story revolves around an asian setting I believe a different tone should have been taken. All in all I'm still probably going to listen to the whole series.
