What a story.

I loved this from start to finish. Dumas has a flair for the dramatic that shows the whole way through. He takes his time in constructing the story and details each scene with very clear delight in the doing. The narrator suits this story well, and the voices for the characters, accents, and emotion he uses do it justice. I am a fan.

One of the most moving tales I have ever known of. George Macdonald gives a tremendous sense of melancholy and redemption through this book.
