Funny, romcom with serious subject matter. This story was very entertaining. I laughed so hard, so much of the time. The narrator does such an excellent job bringing the characters to life. This story deals with a tough situation head-on, while surrounding it with great humor. This was an excellent book and an auditory delight.

I like the first book. The story was entertaining, but the narrator didn't do male voices well at all. However the scratchy voice of this narrator made listening impossible. I didn't finish the first chapter. I wanted to get her water or clear her throat for her. It was so distracting I couldn't hear the story. I could only hear her voice. I'll see if I can find the book in kindle.

This is not a book or even a short story. It's an episode. I can't believe you are selling this as a book. people are paying good money for a partial story, when they could get a whole book from a different author. This isn't even a cliffhanger. We didn't get far enough in the story for anyone to care to hear the rest. All this 'book' did was set the scene and introduce characters. There is no plot yet. We have a girl who is attracted to a guy. We don't know enough about the guy or their "story" with each other to know or care if they will end up together or not. No tension or suspense was created for this to be a cliffhanger. Unless, of course, you consider a plot of revenge on a high school kid for pranks enough of a nail-biting proposition that you have to "run out" to get the next installment. Give me a break! Are you kidding me with this? What has publishing come to that you have to split your Reader's Digest length book into sections to make money. At the very least, if you are going to use the ploy of a desperate author and do a cliffhanger "book," make sure you have enough of a story that the read will actually want to know how it ends. I was really starting to like Molly Harper and her snarky heroines, but I am so disappointed in the way this book ends. I don't know if I can bring myself to try another of her books. Molly, why? Why would you do this to your readers? Bless your heart.

I didn't like the heroine or Chloe's narration. Simone was annoying. She seemed exactly the type of character that Penny would never write.
Also, Roscoe, who is the best part of the book, had less parts. I missed Chris's excellent performance, they were so few and far between.

The story could have been good. Too much focus on his "big c**k," her getting "f**cked so hard," and use of the word"f**k." It drowned out what could've been a good book. Narrators did the best they could with the material.

The narrators we're fine. The heroine was self-centered & childish. Not likable or relatable. The hero was awesome. It was not clear why he liked her, let alone fall in love; other than hot sex.
No substance to the romance.

I liked fifty shades, but darker is way better. Also, the series could end happily with this book. This book is the meat of the story. You finally get to know Grey. The scenes are better, the characters more flushed out, and the love is tangible. This book has all that the other two don't, mainly a storyline. The first book is all set up. It's confusing at times. The characters aren't developed enough to make the story stand alone. Actually, Grey is a better version of FSoG. Christian's POV is definitely what the first book needed. You don't need to read the third book, unless you like stories that go on way too long with nothing new to add to the overall storyline.
