Hit or Miss
Revisado: 03-19-23
The stories in here are pretty hit or Miss, and the funny thing is the scariest story didn’t even take place in the ocean. On the other hand, Mr.Creepypasta knocked it out of the park with his narrating. Like he does with all of his narrations.

Historia
Since the 1970s, FantasticLand has been the theme park where "Fun is Guaranteed!" But when a hurricane ravages the Florida coast and isolates the park, the employees find it anything but fun. Five weeks later, the authorities who rescue the survivors encounter a scene of horror. Photos soon emerge online of heads on spikes outside of rides and viscera and human bones littering the gift shops, breaking records for hits, views, likes, clicks, and shares.

Beware Chapter 14
Revisado: 01-11-23
In Chapter 14 there is a person who is interviewed and the voice the narrator uses for this is hard to listen to. It was a very over the top beach bum voice. It made the chapter that was only about half an hour of listening time feel like 3 hours. Besides that one chapter the male narrator did a good job. The female narrator did a slightly better job in my opinion.

Historia
John Wayne Cleaver is dangerous, and he knows it. He's obsessed with serial killers, but really doesn't want to become one. So for his own sake, and the safety of those around him, he lives by rigid rules he's written for himself, practicing normal life as if it were a private religion that could save him from damnation. Dead bodies are normal to John. They don't demand or expect the empathy he's unable to offer. Perhaps that's what gives him the objectivity to recognize that there's something different about the body the police have just found behind the Wash-n-Dry Laundromat - and to appreciate what that difference means.

I Am Not a High Schooler
Revisado: 10-22-21
This story took itself way too seriously and did not at all acknowledge the absurdity of the plot. When this book tried to be dark it was held back by the fact it’s a YA book and it just said so many cliche edgy things that did not sound nearly as scary as the character thought.

Historia
It is said that dreams are harmless, that they are nothing more than the meaningless fancies of an unconscious mind. It’s only a dream. It’s only a dream. It’s only a dream. This, of course, is something we tell ourselves when we wake up screaming in the dead of night. We repeat the mantra in order to bring ourselves back to reality, in order to remind ourselves that there is nothing to fear.

Just go to YouTube
Revisado: 06-03-21
For those who don’t know Mr. Creepy Pasta has his own YouTube and you can find all the stories on his YouTube. So you don’t have to spend money or an audible point. Mr. Creepy Pasta is a great narrator and some of the audio is just straight from the YouTube and it makes the quality inconsistent because some of the audio is from his older stories.
Last thing I want to mention is Vincent V Cava’s writing. This man knows how to make a good story when he has enough time. When he had his shorter stories on there they just felt cliché. They had generic plot twist and one of them was just gross out horror if you can call it horror and not a comedic story(which I hope was his intention). With his longer stories on the other hand such as “Picture This” and “ Neptune Fancy” felt original and if you ask me movie material.
Overall I’d recommend it and Vincent V Cava is an underrated author and he has some amazing stories in this book despite the few lows in it you won’t be disappointed by his other stories.

Historia
Working at a dead-end retail job in the middle of nowhere can be hard. The long hours. The helpless customers. The enormous eldritch horror living deep below the building. As the only full-time employee at the 24 hour gas station at the edge of town, Jack has pretty much seen it all. But when he decides to start an online journal documenting the bizarre day-to-day occurrences, he unwittingly attracts the attention of much more than just a few conspiracy theorists.

Stick around for the others
Revisado: 04-20-21
I just listened to this book for the second time and it reminds me that despite its flaws things become more clear and better in the sequel books.
In this book Jack Townsend is still developing his style and this book is great but it’s choppy at some parts but overall great. I’ll admit it’s not for everyone but that’s what makes it so special. This first book is If Edgar Allen Poe were more comedic with also a little Lovecraft sprinkled in.
This book is amazing start to a great series and it gets better from this book and I highly recommend it.

Gruesomely Average
Revisado: 09-17-20
This book had a good start but later on couldn’t decide what it wanted to be. At some parts it was trying to be a Lovecraft story and the other it was just gore for nothing but shock effect. It was predictable but towards the end things mixed up a bit. The narrator on the other hand was perfect for this story.
This book is if you are starting to get into horror it’s a decent introduction
