Historia
It was supposed to be a family vacation. The celebration of a birthday. A weekend of skiing and smiles. But something haunts the slopes, hunts beneath the snow. No longer does it require the sea, no longer the depths of dark waves. Conditioned for land, a winter terror is unleashed upon the guests who inhabit the resort of White Cap Lodge.

Revisado: 02-04-23
What an incredible story!!!
So, this is about a shark that is somehow existing in the snow. The water’s most prolific monster now exists on land where it is a devastating force. After an incident happens, the shark is set free and is on the loose! Will a man and his family escape with their lives? Will the soldiers take down this infamous snow shark? Read it to find out!
I really enjoyed this wild wacky story a ton! One of my new favorite Brian Berry books! His writing prose is so crisp and stories are a fresh breath of air!
5/5 stars easily!

Historia
In Milwaukee, a regular at Vic’s Tavern suddenly smashes a beer bottle and carves up the other customers. In Manhattan, an easygoing cabdriver goes berserk and hurls his cab into a crowd of pedestrians. In Seattle, a young bride slashes her husband in a busy restaurant, then flings herself through a plate-glass window. At first, these shocking incidents appear unrelated. Then a disturbing pattern emerges - the agonizing headaches, the violent tantrums, the faces erupting with sickening lesions, then the final, fatal outburst.

Very good, but a little outdated.
Revisado: 04-21-21
I liked this story a ton, but the characters weren’t all that well written and likable. I’m not saying characters have to be likable for me to enjoy a good story, but one of the main characters, the protagonist Corey, was a huge dick and I wanted him to die so badly, but, and not to ruin anything, Corey is the hero of this story. So, of course, there was no way he wouldn’t get the girl in the end. Overall, i’m giving this story three and a half stars, round it to four. BUT, I really want to say that the performance for this was out of the park! Excellent narration! Gotta applaud the narrator for this one! Great narration and a pretty good, but outdated story.

Historia
This audiobook features two books: Black Christmas and Bloody Legacy. Also includes the short story "Killing Time". The citizens of Cedar Bluff, Tennessee, have never recovered from the Christmas Massacre of 1978 - that tragic day when Richard McFarland, armed with a shotgun, abandoned his wife and son and selected a local church as the stage for a bloody, murderous rampage. McFarland paid for his crimes in the electric chair. Yet, not even death will stop him from finishing what he started.

The Halloween Man was something...
Revisado: 11-05-20
So, this may be a harsh rating for a really great writer like Douglas Clegg, but I’m giving the story an overall 2 1/2 stars. I wasn’t a big fan. There were moments in this book that made me think, “wow, this is really going somewhere,” but then it didn’t go anywhere. It started off as one story, then went into this massive coming of age flashback that I should have liked, because I love CoA stories, but it was boring and long and at times very confusing. Douglas Clegg is an amazing writer, talented with a lot of pros, but this one was a miss for me.

Historia
The Norfolk coast made for a perfect holiday - as long as the sun still shone. But when the rain came, the creatures left the shadows. Spectres from the past tortured James Hildebrand's mind. His blackest nightmares were crowded with malevolent, coiling images of decay. Then, suddenly, he knew the threat was real. The dead alone could not quench their hunger. And, for the living, the horrors that fed and multiplied in the darkness of the night became more terrible with the dawn.

The Worms Crawl In, The Worms Crawl Out
Revisado: 09-03-20
Whoa, what a story! I had a lot of fun with this and the narrator killed it! There were such great descriptions in this book, like one that made me change my dinner plans when saucy spaghetti was involved in describing a mass of worms! Author really wrote an incredible story and I definitely recommend😁

Historia
In a small Arizona town, a man counts his blessings: a loving wife, two teenage daughters, and a job that allows him to work at home. Then "The Store" announces plans to open a local outlet, which will surely finish off the small downtown shops. His concerns grow when "The Store's" builders ignore all the town's zoning laws during its construction. Then dead animals are found on "The Store's" grounds. Inside, customers are hounded by obnoxious sales people, and strange products appear on the shelves.

Wowzers! What a story!
Revisado: 08-10-19
So, this story is basically what if wal-mart took over your town. I never thought a superstore could be "Scary," but Bentley Little did a great job writing a story that enthralled me and had me listening even when I should've been going to bed. Other than some characters names being very close together, like, I kept getting the daughters mixed up with one another. But other than that it was a great story! I dug every minute of it!

Historia
In this short story from the author of Cruelty and The Sound of Broken Ribs, our narrator finds themselves no longer alone in the barren wood they've called home since time out of mind. A specter from their past has come to visit. Might the visitor be a ghost, a time traveler, or something more sinister? For not everyone is who (or what) they seem to be.

It was a good read, err, I mean listen.
Revisado: 02-27-19
I enjoyed the book and the narration was great! There were awkward moments here or there and the villain himself (or should I say himsefs?) was a little confusing at times. Like I didn’t know about his limitations and/or his powers. Maybe I missed something, since I did listen to this at work, but overall the story was nice.
