Not impressed.
If it wasn’t for Mark Boyette, I might not have finished it. Mark Boyette could read the owners manual from my car and I’d probably binge listen to it. That being said, this book was the same story with different high school type characters. If you just want some more space opera … it’s ok

And all 3 were removed for whatever reasons. I just noticed there were only 330 reviews for this book towards the end six or seven of them are duplicates. Yes I took the time to scroll through all the garbage. I’m a disabled Vet with nothing better to do. So don’t judge.
I gave this book fantastic reviews. As a veteran I absolutely related to the warrior theme(even though I was only a mechanic). I think did anybody who gave this book a bad review didn’t understand it.
In any rate I’m not gonna waste any more time of mine and your Because this will probably be deleted too, the mega corporations can’t stand an independent thought

Not Alan Dean Fosters best performance and I’m a fan! The narrator is monotone and uninspiring. Overall, I had to force myself to finish all 3 books just to give it a fair shot. It started out with a good premise and ADF’s technical prowess shines like most of his works, it is like he just gave up on trying half way through book 2 and the characters become stereotypical and out of nowhere just in time to kill the bad guy or fill some other void in the story.
Save your money.

With Chricton and Patterson , two famous authors, I thought for sure this was going to be a hit. Slow,predictable and boring. Throw in monotone narration and this was a DNF (did not finish)

BV really goes off in a new direction, This new addition to the UNDYING goes into the morality of war, and McGill has really matured into a real commander who uses thought instead of the bumbling good or bad luck. Same Great War scenes action and all the same characters with very few new ones. I just don’t like it book that makes me wait until the next season to see how it ends.
Mark Boyette gives another stellar performance. His vocal skills are truly remarkable and it really gives the characters depth. Marks performance is the reason I gave an overall 4 instead 3 because the writing felt lazy, but hey…..I can’t complain too much because I’ve read all 21 books.
Buy it, you won’t regret it.
