It's rare to hear someone be so completely honest about their life, and I personally find it utterly refreshing. Thank you to the author for sharing your story with such vulnerability. I loved listening to the impact of true friendship in a world that so often defines love solely as romantic relationship. We can all start again. We can all find community and value and purpose in many places. We are all works in progress. The performance of the text was brought to life so beautifully by the author herself.

This was an absolute pleasure to listen to from beginning to end. The characters felt so real and relatable. I was rooting for them all through their journeys. Many congratulations to the narrator for delivering such a beautiful performance. And to the writer for crafting a world of literary fiction that weaves so many important stories together in such a compassionate way.

I don't read a ton of sci-fi, but this was strongly recommended to me, so I gave it a try. I'm so glad I did! I loved the story, and can't really say why without spoilers. Now on to the performance. The narrator was incredible. He had quite the task ahead of him, to create so many diverse characters from all over the world, to build worlds, and to create relationships that made me laugh out loud and pulled on the heartstrings. Five stars all around!

This was my first book in the Paranormal Romance/Urban Fastasy genre. It was a well developed world with interesting and complicated characters. I really enjoyed it!
I especially loved the narration. Celeste Kono was perfect for the snarky main character and did an excellent job giving life to the many other characters. Well done!

I really enjoyed this listen. It was sweet, had a lot of legitimately funny (and relatable) moments, loveable characters, a little bit of magic, and carried a through line of emotional intelligence. The narrator, Rachel Marie Schachter, perfectly captured the love, the humor, and the journey of Sara's character as she navigated this wonderfully unlikely summer.
