I loved this book. I’ve read and listened it, and come back to the thinking prompts often.

Got the story format worked well to get the points across. There are some repetition felt like the right amount.

I wish Kevin had done the audio himself, but aside from that I really appreciated his exposition and analysis.

This is a good extension of his book, essentialism, as well as a combination of concepts from other very helpful books like the ideal team player, checklist manifesto, and positive intelligence

The author does an excellent job at laying out a clear defense of missions from scripture. He also carefully quotes the authors and theologians that need to adjust their teachings to be more in line with those scriptures. He also takes care to consider consequences of these modern perspectives on missions, in addition to being encouraged by this book and the author set a very good example of how to approach conflict by treating your opponents with respect

The “Process” Process is pure gold. The most stunning feature of this book is its simplicity. The authors lay out a proven way of creating process documentation that so that your manual contains only the simplified and essential steps. I really appreciated how they even demonstrated this very principle in their concise presentation of the critical steps to creating a process manual - they boiled it down to only the essentials.

Jeff first book, Saturate, addressed the root issue of ineffective church government. In Gospel Fluency he addresses the root issue of ineffective Christians.

The narrator is dry, almost monotone. In contrast to the narrator of volume 1 who would impersonate Roosevelt and keep you enthralled.

I don’t doubt the reliability of the details, but vast sections of the book refer to so much information that I began to wonder what Teddy was up to while I learned all this trivia.
