Historia
The Angry Tide is the seventh novel in Winston Graham's sweeping series of Cornwall, Poldark. Cornwall, towards the end of the 18th century. Ross Poldark sits for the borough of Truro as Member of Parliament - his time divided between London and Cornwall, his heart divided about his wife, Demelza.

"It was windy. The pale afternoon sky was shredded with clouds..." Yep, I can quote those first few delicious lines of The Angry Tide, but I'd much rather listen to the amazing Oliver Hembrough croon it to me through my AirPods! It's even changed my attitude about exercise. Now I can't WAIT to get outside and walk up some really steep hills. Instead of listening to my own gasping for breath, I get to lose myself in the Poldark series of books. Fantastic writing and fabulous narration! My dream vacation is to travel to Cornwall and enjoy the amazing scenery (aka brood on a cliff in Ross-style) while listening to these books! :)
