Need to love The Tempest

I thought this book was great but the ending I feel was really rushed. I get why it was rushed since that was the part of the book that is the play. This book was chosen for my book club and being unfamiliar with The Tempest the whole story was new to me. I think the author had her hands a little tied when it came to character development since they could not develop past where they were in the play. If I loved the Tempest though I am sure I would enjoy this book fully.
