Always My Favorite book (and movie)

This book has such great depth in story, characters and history that it feels as if it really happened. Tolkien's secondary world is an absolute joy to read because the story's ancient history affects the characters and their journey. You feel the woder of the past events and how they have influenced the characters in the story. This is the human experience and the Lord of the Rings is my favorite story next to the Bible, which was an inspiration to Tolkien. The Fellowship of the Ring is also my favorite Peter Jackson movie of the series. It comes close to capturing the intention of the book in visual form.
