Not your typical dog story, really enjoyable

Dogs can teach us a lot of lessons and I enjoyed reading about how the author and his family learned from the bad dog. I also kept thinking how the author had found such an amazing voice actor... turns out the author IS the gifted voice actor.

Great tools for those feeling like an imposter

While I do not struggle with imposter syndrome, I was looking for a resource for my coaching clients. This listen gets right to the point with valuable strategies to address imposter syndrome head on. I'll certainly be recommending this author's work for my clients who I believe could benefit from the ARK method.

A wealth of information for course creators!

I've created a handful of courses over the years. I don't have formal training in adult education. I've found myself frustrated by students purchasing material and not taking action. I knew I could build my materials in a manner better suited for their needs. I'm so glad I have this audible a listen. Due to my beginner status, I'll need to give it a listen in a more focused way and on repeat as there is a ton of value packed in here. I think this listen is also excellent for individuals with some training on this topic as advanced tips are covered. A must-listen if you truly want to create material individuals with engage with and benefit from.

Great tips to age in place & to help aging parents

This audible provides many well thought out tips on how to make any home more enjoyable for people experiencing the space. This is in reference to owners, renters, visitors, etc. I like how the book focuses on specific features that may the home more safe and enjoyable for pretty much everyone (regardless of abilities). I also found the author to have a very encouraging tone about tackling these projects room by room. This approach sounded feasible and attainable. One of the last chapters provides many resources for individuals who may qualify for grants to enhance their space for their specific requirements. I found this to be very informative as I have a family member who qualifies. Thus, I'll be taking a deeper dive into how we can leverage those funds to improve the safety of his home (all thanks to this book!)

Helpful listen for retirement financial planning

This is a guide that individuals should read well in advance of retirement. There are practical tips and useful real-world examples that demonstrate the benefits of early planning and preparation for retirement. I'm glad I gave this book a listen as it was solid confirmation that I'm on a good path. There were also some tips I hadn't considered. Definitely worth a listen!

Inspirational guide for a happy retirement

This was a good pep talk about how to build connections and have fun during retirement. So many books on this topic are all doom and gloom about not having enough money, being frugal, etc. This author is very motivational and encouraging in tone. It was a good listen and reminder to focus on building connections and finding enjoyment during life after work. The narrator was very energetic and entertaining.

Great list of links for real estate investors

What I like most about Brian's books is his list of resources. He provides great links in this audiobook to websites for grants, crowdfunding and more. There's a maze of website that require payment, and Brian provides the websites where you can find the information for free.

The author also has a very encouraging tone and makes readers/listeners feel encouraged about getting into the business of real estate. He's not pretentious and very much a nuts and bolts type of author who shares his wisdom from having done the work himself. It's very practical information instead of motivational fluff from some of those other gurus out there.

I also found some of the pointers about protecting your business to be very helpful as it relates to creating multiple business entities. This listen is a smart investment so that you don't find your assets at risk due to not doing your research or setting up proper legal protections.

I owned a business for 10 years and now do consulting for the same business type. This audible gave me several ways in which I can leverage AI to be a better consultant and also ways to coach my clients to use AI. Small businesses are always looking for ways to save time and money, while simultaneously growing their business. This book is a good fit for meeting those types of goals.
