Nice long epic with interesting FMC, finally

I like the focus on resourceful and actually independent FMCs, there is a romance aspect but it doesn’t take over the tale like it can in many epics. Nice world building and a new take on the classic „kill the big bad guy“ story.

FMC is annoying story is uneventful

Spoiler (?) I haven’t finished the book, but I imagine the cousin disappeared to get away from the self-righteous ignorance of the FMC. Probably won’t even finish the book, sadly. The performance is delightful, it’s just a bad story.

I’ve loved this series for years and have been so sad it was not available in audio format. I couldn’t believe my luck when I happened to see it was finally released on audible. Can’t wait for the next book!
