I'm pretty sure these authors are still wearing Covid masks. They fail to realize there are legitimate opposing viewpoints. You're either in lockstep with the predictable mainstream narrative, or you suffer from cognitive dissonance. Way to turn an interesting topic into something that lacks credibility.

Good concept, too much focus on LGBTQ issues

Good concept and mostly great thinking, but every other example is an LGBTQ issue, I think there are ways to make the point without being overly focused in that area.

Amazingly bad

Kurt must have let some 7th graders take a break from Call of Duty to ghost write this book.

The author only knows one all-purpose word; the F word and uses it to describe everything.

The story is thin and weak.

To make up for it, the narrator sounds like he's yelling the entire book.

Childish and predictable

So cliché and shallow. Not sure what people see in this. Agent meets the town hottie, bangs her before figuring out his case, fights with the town trouble maker. I couldn’t take it anymore. Had to return it at this point.

Would you be willing to try another book from Brad Thor? Why or why not?

No. Thor's profanity is like a school kid who just learned the F-bomb and thinks swearing is the path to manhood. Stupid and difficult to listen to. Real authors know how to communicate. Brad Thor does not. I had to delete this book a short way into it because I just couldn't take the gratuitous vulgarity.

Great story, bad language

I found the first part of the story to be very engaging. I didn't listen to all of it due to bad language (frequent F- words, etc.). I hold little respect for an author who chooses to write in profanity - even when quoting someone. It is just as easy to paraphrase, maintain dignity, and convey the appropriate sentiment. Two stars for the author's lack in this regard.
