Entertaining Story
Revisado: 09-29-24
I don’t know if it’s because I grew up watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer or what, but I really liked this book. I found Cassi completely relatable and Frederick so endearing. Fun read!

In the spring of 2020, Lara’s three daughters return to the family's orchard in Northern Michigan. While picking cherries, they beg their mother to tell them the story of Peter Duke, a famous actor with whom she shared both a stage and a romance years before at a theater company called Tom Lake. Perfection. Interesting and yet slow a story about life, growing up and growing old. Just beautiful.

If you’re a Francophile…
Revisado: 07-15-23
If you’re a Francophile and dream of moving to Paris, you’ll love this book. Not only is it a love story, but provides very practical financial advice on how to follow your dreams and how to make the commitments and changes necessary to successfully leave behind a life you are not happy with.
