Historia
A deranged fan has wagered a dangerous game with the heirs of a popular author, Janae Mayfield (writing under the name, Annie Reeves), who has died without finishing her life’s work of completing her popular mystery series. The family (Reese Mayfield and Peter Mayfield) has vowed to let dead authors and their works lie, choosing not to release the notes for the final novel or to hire a ghostwriter to complete the series. As Annie Reeves’s fortune dwindles and one member of the family disappears, other members are concerned that they may be next.

Gripping story, smashing narration!
Revisado: 12-21-23
Gripping story telling right at the outset, The narrator smashed this story right out of the park. I want more. Downside I can’t believe the author chose to leave Justine and Cornell the way he did. A truly concerned reader. I hope you fix this.

Historia
Kiley and Kevin both started their lives off in separate orphanages, only later to be swept up by the foster system. Kevin spent his younger years escaping the abuse of one foster family after another and when he was on the run, he spent time on the streets as a “streetpreneur”. At least, that is what Kevin calls himself. Kiley only faired slightly better than Kevin, though she never had to live on the street. Life in the foster realm was no picnic until Kevin entered her life.

Good Pace Good Storytelling
Revisado: 04-26-23
From beginning to end the pace was good, I really liked the way the author weaved you in and out of the story. Kevin Templeton is a surprising character that does not fail to entertain.
Skye Alley is a versatile and dynamic narrator with a freakish ability to pop in and out of characters at will.
Great Listen!

Historia
I wake up every day to the same old song and dance. After breakfast, I spend two hours looking at numbers on a screen that say I am worth so much. I go and play a round or two of tennis. Well, I slug through it; I’m supposed to keep moving. Then lunchtime approaches. Oh, what to have for lunch? But really, it is the same old choices. And then the long wait for the evening to come. In the meantime, I try to occupy my time at the racetrack. Evening comes and dinner, then some reading until I fall asleep. Wake up and do it all over again. Like I said, monotony.

Worth the time
Revisado: 01-26-23
The title was killing me, curiosity killed the cat. Pun’s intended. I would like to know if anyone else was taken by the title, the long and short I came for the title and stayed for the story and narrator.
