Historia
Lucidly and beautifully written, Peace Is Every Step contains commentaries, meditations, personal anecdotes, and stories from Nhat Hanh's experiences as a peace activist, teacher, and community leader. It begins where the listener already is - in the kitchen, office, driving a car, walking - and shows how deep meditative presence is available now.

Historia
An ax murder leaves Franki less than jazzed.... Jazz Fest is in full swing in The Big Easy, but PI Franki Amato is singing the blues. The owner of an historic Italian grocery and deli is murdered in a manner eerily reminiscent of the Axeman of New Orleans, a notorious serial killer who hasn’t struck in over a century, and someone Franki knows has been arrested for the crime. Adding to her distress, Franki, her mom, and her meddling Sicilian nonna finally meet her fiancé’s family, but the tone of their encounter is decidedly downbeat.

Another crazy adventure with Frankie!
Revisado: 03-27-22
Family on both sides meddling in the wedding plans add flavor to this mixed pot of deliciously funny characters.
Will she finally marry the love of her life or did she inadvertantly cast a bit of bad luck sending her fiance packing. Hang on to your pasties, it's going to bumpy ride!
Stay tuned for the outtakes at the end, they're priceless.

Steve, let her get one right!
*sigh
Another fun ride with Buster and Amber. I'm not sure if I'd book her for my wedding, odds on a death are pretty high. Perhaps she could start doing funerals as well... one stop shop.
I do enjoy the mysteries, however I would love to see her evolve a bit. Beautiful narration once again.

Another fun mystery for the animals to figure out, while the humans stumble through. Well paced, distinguishable characters, a fun local for a murder and the narrator keeps on point with all of the characters flawlessly. I appreciate that the author let's the reader figure out the mystery along with the animals, before Felicity catches on. A lot of death in this one though, I'd hate to be a guest at that wedding. 😁😅

With Buster the bulldog as her protector and Amber the ragdoll cat providing sartorial wit - mostly aimed at the dog - Felicity is turning sleuth. What does a wedding planner know about solving a crime?Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Get ready for a wild ride!

Historia
I’ve been in this life for fifty years, been trying to work out its riddle for forty-two, and been keeping diaries of clues to that riddle for the last thirty-five. Notes about successes and failures, joys and sorrows, things that made me marvel, and things that made me laugh out loud. How to be fair. How to have less stress. How to have fun. How to hurt people less. How to get hurt less. How to be a good man. How to have meaning in life. How to be more me. Recently, I worked up the courage to sit down with those diaries.

Revisado: 07-19-19
I loved this book. An old locket, tarot cards and a skeleton in the attic...Just when I thought I figured it all out, everything changed. Looking forward to the second book in the series. Narration was great, with good pacing.
Also, I thought it was fun to have a small crossover from the Glass Dolphin series when she needed help identifying the authenticity of a couple of objects.
