excellent writing and fantastic narration

I adore the universe that Seanna has created with her characters, that bridge between fantasy and modern day reality. it's incredibly easy to get lost in the story and find yourself picturing it as it plays or, and rooting for or cursing the players.
add Samantha's narration and it's even better. She has a truly unique ability to make each respective character sound different and evoke an emotional response. it's like listening to multiple people reading parts, but it's all her. her eye for accents is pretty apt as well, and just adds to the atmosphere, it really helps immerse you.
I've already preordered the next Arwen and Sam books and I can't wait for the Audible copies to drop at well.

Really good story

I enjoyed the story and I have read a few Roxie Ray books. This was a good and quick read that stuck pretty heavily to the usual tropes of the genre, but still had a few twists that were unexpected.
The narration though, was a little lacking in my opinion. Overall the story was really good and the narration was great, but when it got to anything steamy, I'm not sure if it's the way it was written or the way it was narrated, but the spicy scenes sounded extremely clinical, like someone describing sex that has never actually had it. Which was oddly fitting, given the FMC of the book, but it definitely distracted from the overall wonderfully written and narrated story.
