Radical Together-Very Inspiring and Spot On!

I have only read the first chapter of Radical, the prequel to this book, but since I have had more time to listen than to sit and read, I chose to read them out of order, having received the second book free on Audible. I love the book. I love the authors philosophy when it comes to how we should be doing church. We are so off base in the respect of what a successful church looks like in today's culture, and the reminder from David Platt that we need to be more focused on reaching the whole world with the Gospel than on creating a comfy couch atmosphere to enjoy "Christianity" together is right on time. My husband and I have just planted a church. I think the book only could have been a better experience if the author had read it himself, the reader was dry and bland, it subtracted from the content a bit. When hearing such important passionate things, it would serve the author (and the reader) better if you could hear the emotion and passion in the voice of the reader.
