Historia
Anthony Fauci is arguably the most famous–and most revered–doctor in the world today. His role guiding America sanely and calmly through Covid (and through the torrents of Trump) earned him the trust of millions during one of the most terrifying periods in modern American history, but this was only the most recent of the global epidemics in which Dr. Fauci played a major role. His crucial role in researching HIV and bringing AIDS into sympathetic public view and his leadership in navigating the Ebola, SARS, West Nile, and anthrax crises, make him truly an American hero.

Great book!
Revisado: 06-25-24
I really appreciated Dr. Fauci’s perspective on such serious topics. I admire Dr. Fauci so much and I’m glad he clarified some of the accusations that have been leveled against him. I hope that Americans will listen to his audible book with an open mind.

Historia
Reacher is hitching through the heat of West Texas and getting desperate for a ride. The last thing he's worried about is exactly who picks him up.
She's called Carmen. She's a good-looking young woman, she has a beautiful little girl...and she has married into the wrong family. They're called the Greers. They're a bitter and miserly clan, and they've made her life a living hell. Worse, her monster of a husband is soon due out of prison. So she needs protection, and she needs it now.
Lawyers can't help. Cops can't be trusted. So Reacher goes home with her to the lonely ranch where nothing is as it seems, and where evil swirls around them like dust in a storm. Within days, Carmen's husband is dead - and simmering secrets send Echo, Texas, up in flames.

The Worst Jack Reacher Ever!

Be careful Audible is selling this book in 2 different versions.
Revisado: 01-23-24
I love the narrator and Reacher. But I almost bought it again. It happened to me once before. Audible is releasing abridged and unabridged versions. Double check your library. You’re not going to get the warning that you already purchased this book. Nor does it come up when you search through the Discover app that you already own one version. BTW. I really hate this.

Much better than book 1
Revisado: 01-17-24
The plot moves quickly. The characters are interesting. Simon Vance is a fabulous narrator. I really hesitated buying this book because The House in the Woods (Book 1) really dragged. This book is far better edited.

The plot is ridiculous!
Revisado: 01-10-24
I enjoy listening to Scott Brick very much. The plot is absolutely unrealistic. I’m going to have to go back and leave a 5 star review for all of the other Harlan Cohen books I love because I feel bad leaving a 1 star review. Read “Win” if you’re looking for a fantastic book by this author.

Nasally narrator
Revisado: 08-12-22
It’s really hard to listen too. I wonder why this narrator was used. Extra bad when performing women’s voices. Better to read this book then listen to it.
